NYX UK Reveal July Premieres Including Uwe Boll’s controversial Seed

NYX UK have revealed news on their eight chilling channel premieres coming to the channel in July. headed up on Tuesday 16th July at 9pm, with Uwe Boll’s controversial retro-slasher Seed (2007), a divisive portrait of a serial killer which delves into the macabre and grotesque, offering a grim exploration of vengeance and the human capacity for cruelty.
At first you’ll be afraid, you’ll be petrified! On Friday 5th July , 9pm, NYX UK also premieres Renaud Gauthier’s ‘goriously’ humorous Discopath (2013), in which a seemingly ordinary man turns his local Seventh Heaven nightclub into a splatter Disco Inferno.
Other primetime channel premieres include the captivating 1972 Italian giallo Amuck (July 9th, 9pm), Reeker 2, Dave Payne’s 2008 prequel to Reeker (11th July , 9pm), Sonja O’Hara’s 2022 horror thriller Mid-Century (12th July , 9pm), Black Circle (2018), a stunning Mexican-Swedish horror thriller directed by Adrián García Bogliano. (Thursday 18th July, 9pm) and the Venezuelan supernatural thriller, The House At The End Of Time (2013), directed by Alejandro Hidalgo, broadcast on Fri July 26, 9pm.
The channel also celebrates the birthdays of two Italian kings of terror. Firstly, Sergio Martino on Friday 19th July, 9pm, with the stylishly graphic giallo Torso (1973), followed at 11pm by his erotically charged murder mystery Your Vice Is A Locked Room And Only I Have The Key (1972).
Then on Wednesday 31st July at 9pm, Mario Bava is remembered with the channel premiere of his relentless tense and macabre slasher, A Bay Of Blood (1971), followed at 11pm with the haunting and surreal The House Of Exorcism (1975), starring Golden Globe winner Elke Sommer, which he co-directed with Alfredo Leone.
