They say on the ‘Dark web’ you can get everything, In Silk Road, you want drugs Nick Robinson is your man. Today Vertigo Releasing have released the UK Trailer The Love Simon star is a ‘Millennial Gangster’ the mastermind behind the internet’s first unregulated marketplace.

Journey into the dark web with Silk Road, the shocking real-life crime story of the drug kingpin behind the world’s first online black market.

The crime thriller is all about the rise and full of Ross Ulbricht (Robinson) the mastermind behind the site that would give you a chance to buy every illicit drug known. The Silk Road sent a seismic shock to the internet and made Ulbricht a very wealthy man. It was only a matter of time his path was on a collision course with FBI and one particular agent Rick Bowden (Jason Clarke).

Inspired by larger-than-life events, this riveting crime thriller follows the rise and fall of ‘Silk Road’ – the infamous darknet site that sent a seismic shock through the World Wide Web. Young, idealistic, and driven to succeed, Ross Ulbricht (Nick Robinson, Love, Simon) creates the internet’s first unregulated marketplace: Silk Road. But when it becomes a multimillion-dollar pipeline for illicit drugs, Ross is set on a collision course with Rick Bowden (Jason Clarke, The Devil All the Time, Zero Dark Thirty), a disreputable and dangerously unpredictable DEA agent, who will use any means necessary to take him down.

From director Tiller Russell, the mind behind Netflix’s true crime hit Night Stalker and Amazon’s The Last Narc, Silk Road is a jaw-dropping crime saga for the digital age.

The film also stars Katie Aselton, Jimmi Simpson, Daniel David Stewart, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Lexi Rabe, Will Ropp, with Paul Walter Hauser, and Alexandra Shipp.
