Calling something odd or strange might be negative remark for some, not Yorgos Lanthimos. If anything it’s expected with Lanthimos in Kinds Of Kindness new UK Trailer certainly ticks all boxes.

The latest Trailer is all about Jesse Plemons a man in crisis, life a shambles and sporting many hairstyles. This promo certainly gives the film it’s big Robert Altman feel ala Short Cuts with a big slice of David Lynch. Could we come to terms in what’s happening in front Plemons?

This certainly has Poor Things strangeness in The Lobster type world. We do get a glimpse at the films other characters as well as why Mr Plemons won best actor award at Cannes recently…

From visionary director Yorgos Lanthimos, Kinds of Kindness is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.

The rest of the film’s cast also includes Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, Krystal Alayne Chambers and Hunter Schafer.

Kinds Of Kindsness will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 28th June.
