Another New Trailer For Yorgos Lanthimos’ Kinds Of Kindness

After Poor Things, Yorgos Lanthimos and it’s no surprise his next film Kinds Of Kindness will make it’ world premiere at 77th edition Of Cannes Film Festival. Searchlight Pictures has released another UK Teaser Trailer, that has a certain Emma Stone dancing away in a Motel car park!

Just like the previous teaser, this 27 second teaser doesn’t reveal much. If anything Lanthimos moving more from his Stanley Kubrick period into something feels more into David Lynch/ Robert Altman.

There’s still no detailed synopsis for Kinds Of Kindness. What we do know is the film will consist of three stories, or a ‘triptych fable’. All about a man getting his life back, policeman whose wife disappears, returning a different person. Plus a woman looking for someone with special powers.

From visionary director Yorgos Lanthimos, Kinds of Kindness is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.

The rest of the film’s cast also includes Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, Krystal Alayne Chambers and Hunter Schafer.

Kinds of Kindness will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 28th June.
