New Top Gun: Maverick Trailer Has Need For Speed!
We’ve all heard about the endless delays for No Time To Die, many have forgotten there was one film has been delayed longer. Top Gun: Maverick has been waiting for release for more than 3 years, Paramount Pictures reveal we’ll be back in the danger zone sooner than we think. Releasing the third UK Trailer for the film which showcases Tom Cruise will be back in the cockpit for a need for speed!
Astonishing to think the previous trailer was released December 2019 with hope for Summer 2020 release, then Covid-19 happened. Now that the film is set for a world premiere for Cannes Film Festival in May, it’s time to remind cinephiles about the film.
Cruise returns as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, now with over 30 years Navy service. Dodging rank advancement but with an uncertain future, Maverick is brought onboard for a special mission. Teach student aviators how to fly which sees him face ghosts from his past.
Top Gun is one of those films critically probably the Michael Bay films of 1980s, pure popcorn fodder. Difference between this film and Bay the original film is a cult film. This trailer is action packed, full of tension, here’s hoping its worth the wait!

After more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. When he finds himself training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose”.
Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.
The Top Gun sequel also stars Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Charles Parnell, Bashir Salahuddin, Monica Barbaro, Jay Ellis, Danny Ramirez, Greg Tarzan Davis, Val Kilmer with Ed Harris.
Top Gun: Maverick will arrive in UK and Irish cinemas along with IMAX from 25th May (27th May in USA).
