New Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Character Posters Revealed

Our favourite little animated blue hedgehog Sonic will be back in our cinemas very soon with Sonic The Hedgehog 2.  Paramount Pictures are reminding us there’s still a few weeks of promotion to go and today reveal three new posters. The trio of character posters show off our animated  cast Sonic plus his buddy Tails and Knuckles.

Each one comes with a slogan – Sonic’s (Ben Schwartz)  says ‘License2Quill‘, which is a fun spin on James Bond’s Licence To Kill. Tails (Colleen O’Shaughnessey) has ‘Ready 2 Kick Tail’ and finally  Knuckles (Idris Elba) with ‘Time 2 Punch In‘ who is new to the franchise.

The world’s favourite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 cast also includes James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, Lee Majdoub, and Shemar Moore. The film’s UK and Irish cinema release will be 1st April (USA 8th April).
