New Rocketman Clip Elton John Is Going To The Troubadour Club

In just nine days time we will be warped into that fantasy world of Elton John’s life story Rocketman.

After so many conventional biopics from the world of film, TV and Music, this one promises to an uncensored ‘human story’. A pipe dream musical that sees the young Reginald Dwight take his first steps into stardom to become Elton John. Following the era that covers his breakthrough album Honky Château which included his iconic song ‘Rocketman’.

Taron Egerton is playing young Elton and ahead of the film’s release, Paramount Pictures has sent us a new clip. The clip entitled ‘Couple of Nights at the Troubadour‘ stars Taron Egerton, Jamie Bell, Stephen Graham and Charlie Rowe. If you’re a Elton John fan you’ll know what Troubadour Club in West Hollywood was to the rock legend. The club that would introduce him to the American audience, a club that also played an important part in the careers of many including Guns N’ Roses, The Eagles, The Byrds…

Based on a true fantasy, ROCKETMAN is an epic musical fantasy about the incredible human story of Elton John’s breakthrough years. The film follows the fantastical journey of transformation from shy piano prodigy Reginald Dwight into international superstar Elton John.

This inspirational story – set to Elton John’s most beloved songs and performed by star Taron Egerton – tells the universally relatable story of how a small-town boy became one of the most iconic figures in pop culture. ROCKETMAN also stars Jamie Bell as Elton’s longtime lyricist and writing partner Bernie Taupin, Richard Madden as Elton’s first manager, John Reid, and Bryce Dallas Howard as Elton’s mother Sheila Farebrother.

Rocketman also stars Jamie Bell, Richard Madden, Gemma Jones and Bryce Dallas Howard. The film will arrive in the UK and Ireland from 22nd May 2019 with the USA on 31st May.
