New Power Rangers Images Reveal Rita Repulsa ‘Green Ranger’?
It will be 2017 in exactly 4 weeks time and Power Rangers will be back when they return modernised and ready to battle on our big screens. Today we get anther look at who they will be battling in new images for Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks) armed with a gold staff, a green goddess ready for world domination!
Rita maybe the rangers nemesis but when you hark back to the Mighty Morphan Power Rangers the 1990s TV show the movie based on, she’s a fan favourite. After 10,000 years in banishment, this evil witch will stop at nothing to get what she desires…Becoming the Queen of the galaxy!
Now we have a clearer look at her full uniform, she may look like she’s a Green Lantern Corp, but would you believe she could possibly be a ‘Green Ranger’?
What we do get a first look at, is her iconic staff that let’s expand the size of her minions and monsters she controls. Looking closer at that staff it seems to be powered a green source and if you know the toys it’s possibly a green coin. These coins are used by the Power Rangers as their source of energy and power, making her staff the sixth ranger which in the TV version she gives to Tommy. Nothing has been confirmed yet if this will happen.

We still don’t have an exact release date for The Power Rangers apart from 2017, however, there’s a possibility March time 24th looking the potential release date.
