Last night we gave you a interesting infographic  measuring psychotic level of film/televisions ‘stressed’ characters for Straw Dogs remake and Screen Gems also sent us a couple of clips and a featurette also. I haven’t seen Rob Lurie’s  remake of Sam Peckinpah’s 1971 version which was one of those films that found itself in the controversial bracket getting its self banned in 1980’s thanks to the right wing conservative government (which is sadly creeping back),it does look like Lurie has captured some of the shocking visuals of the original.

David and Amy Sumner (James Marsden and Kate Bosworth), a Hollywood screenwriter and his actress wife, return to her small hometown in the deep South to prepare the family home for sale after her fatherโ€™s death.  Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, including Amyโ€™s ex-boyfriend Charlie (Alexander Skarsgรฅrd), leading to a violent confrontation.
