After the giant robots Guillermo Del Toro is finally going back to his roots of Gothic Horror in Crimson Peak and in the film’s new International Trailer. After 10 years away from directing the genre the long awaited return shows will deliver traditional scares that macabre and fear will roam the halls

In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleedsโ€ฆand remembers.

Crimson Peak is a Dark Fairytale which takes us back to Del Toro’s earlier films with a big nod towards the classic haunted house sub genre in the vein of House On Haunted Hill. First trailer was all about the tone of the film delivering really well, this new trailer delivers a better impression of the story we can expect, slow burning, creepy, unnerving.Hasย Del Toro made the perfect Haunted House film? ย Whatever you think we’re intrigued in Jessica Chastain‘s role, probably her most sinister role to date?

Crimson Peak stars Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston,Charlie Hunnam and Burn Gorman. Film arrives in UK, Irish and USA cinemas 16th October.
