Mike Flanagan‘s The Haunting of Hill House is one of the very few successes at Netflix Originals. It’s no surprise soon the follow up series The Haunting Of Bly Manor is ready to send a chill down our spines. Today Netflix release the Trailer for the official second season of ‘The Haunting‘ย  series leave us ‘frozen’ in fear.

New location , new characters and a new decade, this Trailer looks like it will tick all the boxes of expectations we want in season two! There feels a big Turn Of The Screw influence in this season as an American Au pair who becomes the nanny of two children at Bly Manor, England. But like any ghost story , not all what it seems and there’s a tragic Gothic story waiting to be unearthed.

From The Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan and producer Trevor Macy comes THE HAUNTING OF BLY MANOR, the next highly anticipated chapter of The Haunting anthology series, set in 1980s England. After an au pairโ€™s tragic death, Henry Wingrave (Henry Thomas) hires a young American nanny (Victoria Pedretti) to care for his orphaned niece and nephew (Amelie Bea Smith, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) who reside at Bly Manor with the estateโ€™s chef Owen (Rahul Kohli), groundskeeper Jamie (Amelia Eve) and housekeeper, Mrs. Grose (Tโ€™Nia Miller). But all is not as it seems at the manor, and centuries of dark secrets of love and loss are waiting to be unearthed in this chilling gothic romance. At Bly Manor, dead doesnโ€™t mean gone.

Producing partners Flanagan and Macy drew from the iconic supernatural stories of Henry James, to create the ensemble drama which also stars Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, and Tahirah Sharif. The series is executive produced by Flanagan and Macy for Intrepid Pictures, along with Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey for Amblin Television.

The series stars stars Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, T’Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Amelie Smith and Amelia Eve.

The Haunting Of Bly Manor will arrive on Netflix globally from 9th October.
