Tokyo is under siege as Ultraman: Rising official Trailer blasts online thanks to Netflix.
It seems our superhero seems to be doing a bit of babysitting a Kaiju?! This is not your standard Ultraman story, this comes from Kubo And The Two Strings director Shannon Tindle and Duck Tales John Aoshima.
Ultraman: Rising will have the action with plenty of comedy, it’s for the kids.
In this one, Ken Sato is a star baseball superstar who reluctantly returns home to take over his father’s duties as Ultraman. Become the defender of Tokyo and shielding it’s people from giant monsters as he becomes a legendary hero.
As I said earlier, this one is for the kids, the playful tone of this trailer backs that up. That doesn’t mean to say fans of the Netflix series can’t enjoy this. Iconic franchises have went different directions to expand their fanbase, no surprise Ultraman now giving it a go…
With Tokyo under siege from rising monster attacks, baseball star Ken Sato reluctantly returns home to take on the mantle of Ultraman.
