Stranger Things: Tales from '85 new trailer

Netflix has delivered for dedicated Stranger Things fans with the trailer release for Stranger Things: Tales from 85 by showrunner Eric Robles. The original show creators, Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, are credited as executive producers on this sci-fi series.

The animated spin-off series features a voice cast of Brooklyn Davey Norstedt, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport, Luca Diaz, Elisha โ€œEJโ€ Williams, Braxton Quinney, Ben Plessala, Brett Gipson, Odessa Aโ€™zion, Jeremy Jordan, Janeane Garofalo and Lou Diamond Phillips. Additional names include Robert Englund, Alysia Reiner, Valeria Rodriguez and Jack Griffo.

Stranger Things: Tales From โ€™85 is described as “an exciting new animated series from showrunner Eric Robles and executive producers the Duffer Brothers.”

The synopsis also tells us: “In the winter of 1985, snow blankets the town and the horrors of the Upside Down are finally fading. Our heroes Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max have settled back into a normal life of D&D, snowball fights, and quiet days. But beneath the ice, something terrifying has awakened. Could it be from the Upside Down? From the depths of Hawkins Lab? Or from somewhere else entirely? Our heroes must race to solve this mystery and save Hawkins in this new story set in the Stranger Things universe.”

The show’s animation was delivered by Flying Bark, and it’s been confirmed that there will be a total of 10 episodes, each with a half-hour runtime.
