Netflix’s Sandy Wexler Trailer Reminds Us Why We Loathe Adam Sandler

It’s hard to believe there was a time Adam Sandler was a much loved comedic actor critically adored, that was a long long long time ago. Now the actor has done more good for his holiday prospects than his actual reputation. After years of pain of emptying cinema screens, the fallen actor now finds himself online with Netflix. It was hoped his time with the Streaming giants could help rejuvenate his career, however, his first effort Ridiculous 6 offended everyone you could possibly imagine. His second attempt The Do-Over wasn’t much better, so what about his next movie Sandy Wexler?

Today Netflix reveal to the world the first tease, the ‘Netflix Original’ made movie Trailer, that will hark back to a time (1994) close enough to when it was hip to like Adam Sandler. Cue the goofy voices, the plastic faces and an endless number of his buddies as cameos. Just remember Sandy was never a big shot he was only a tiny shot, watch the trailer now…

If you haven’t guessed yet from this post or any of our posts over the years, we’ve never been Sandler’s biggest fans, probably more harsh critics. You can’t blame us but we try our best to be diplomatic, sadly everytime we do the movie fails miserably. Honestly, this does look his strongest chance of success in many years with elements that remind us of The Waterboy. It may get us to at least check this out and with this to premiere on Netflix, at least you won’t have the embarrassment of asking for an Adam Sandler ticket at the box office. As you’ll be in the comfort of your own home and can switch onto something a lot better.
