Netflix Release Trailer For The Investigation Of Lucy Letby

The home of true crime documentaries, Netflix, have released the official trailer for The Investigation Of Lucy Letby.

The British neonatal nurse hit the headlines when she was charged with murdering seven babies and attempting to murder another seven in her care. Found guilty on all counts, the case is never far from the spotlight as debate continues about Lucy Letby‘s innocence while she continues to serve 15 whole-life prison terms.

This feature-length documentary dives into the harrowing crimes and includes never-before-seen footage of Letby during her arrest and questioning. Interviews with the mother of one of her victims, together with senior detectives at Cheshire Police, all play an important part in piecing together the story. It’s a film which will, no doubt, continue the debate about the case ahead of the public enquiry report, which is due for publication later in the year.

Synopsis | The crimes, committed between June 2015 and June 2016 at the Countess of Chester Hospital, made Letby the UK’s most prolific child murderer.

The trial gripped Britain and her conviction has divided opinion.

The feature length documentary includes, for the first time, new materials and testimony from the British police who investigated the case and never-before-seen footage of Letby during her arrest and questioning.

The documentary also includes contributions from the mother of one of the victims speaking about her experiences and involvement in Letby’s trial. This is the first time that a family member involved in the prosecution has spoken in a documentary.

The film includes interviews with experts and lawyers on both sides, giving the most comprehensive look at one of Britain’s most notorious crimes.

The Investigation Of Lucy Letby will premiere on Netflix from February 4th.
