Some good news for Netflix fans, one of there popular series Heartstopper will be returning soon for a second season. The streaming giants have announced the new season will arrive on the channel in August.
The summer will be getting hotter with this LGBT Drama of boy meets boy. Nick and Charlie (Kit Connor and Joe Locke) may now be a couple, the new eight part season will focus on how their romance blossoms. They also mustn’t forget they have exams and a end of year prom to look forward to as well. As for there friends relationships, everything may not be as straightforward.
The series is based on Alice Oseman‘s graphic novel, selling over 8 million copies, been published in 35 countries worldwide. It reached the Top 10 Netflix lists in 54 countries, with a 100% rating as well at Rotten Tomatoes. Not long after season one we knew there was going to be a second season but now that date has been announced, fans of the show have something to look forward to this Summer.

Nick and Charlie navigate their new relationship; Tara and Darcy face unforeseen challenges and Tao and Elle work out if they can ever be more than just friends. With exams on the horizon, a school trip to Paris and a prom to plan, the gang has a lot to juggle as they journey through the next stages of life, love and friendship.
The rest of the cast will include Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Sebastian Croft, Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood, Jenny Walser, Cormac Hyde-Corrin and Olivia Colman. You can enjoy all eight episodes of the new season from 3rd August.
