Netflix Announce 4th Season For Cobra Kai As They Launch Season 3
Earlier this year Karate Kid fans got excited when Netflix bought the distribution rights for Cobra Kai. As we waited for news of season 3, the streaming giants have shown us the first two seasons.
Today we learn the long awaited season three of Cobra Kai will be launched globally in January 2021. Even more exciting, Netflix have confirmed there will be a fourth season!
For anyone who hasn’t watched any of Cobra Kai (like myself), the series takes place after the events of the original 1984 film. Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) are back, so is there conflict. Despite the decades since the All Valley Karate Tournament, the boys now men show no sign of peace, if anything relationships are on a downward spiral. Johnny is now the Cobra Kai and Danny doesn’t like it.
For anyone who did watch Season, from what I’ve read there it left a lot of unanswered questions. Fans will be eager to see if Season three will answer those questions. For now, check out the season’s announcement Trailer…
Cobra Kai takes place 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, where a now successful Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) struggles to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of Mr. Miyagi, and must face his previous adversary, down-and-out Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), who seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo.
Cobra Kai Season 3 set to premiere on January 8, 2021.
