MUBI Announce Bring Them Down Streaming Date, Watch Clip

Great time to be a film fan as many of the award winning films are arriving on disc or streaming services. Bring Them Down is one of those films and MUBI have announced Christopher Andrew’s BIFA winning revenge thriller will be exclusively streaming on the channel this month.

The film stars Christopher Abbott and Barry Keoghan is all about two feuding Irish farming families. One family isolated themselves from the outside world all thanks to a tragic accident. Tensions rose again when the sons of both families clashes, it triggers a chain of violent events that change both families.

Bring Them Down was Andrews debut feature, which saw him win the Douglas Hickox Award for first time filmmakers. The People’s Movies Clotilde Chinnici got a chance to chat to Christopher about his film. Watch that interview here, before that watch new clip below and read our review.

Bring Them Down is the story of two feuding farming families in present-day rural Ireland. Michael (Christopher Abbott), the last son of a farming family, lives an isolated existence with his ailing father Ray. Haunted by a terrible accident in his past, Michael has isolated himself from the world and is dedicated to his prized flock. When the ongoing conflict with rival farmer Gary and his unpredictable son Jack (Barry Keoghan) stirs old tensions and grievances, it triggers a chain of events that take increasingly violent turns, leaving both families permanently altered.

The film also stars Colm Meaney, Nora-Jane Noone, Paul Ready, Aaron Heffernan, and Susan Lynch. Bring Them Down will debut on MUBI from 28th March.
