Mexican Drug Cartels (Sicario Infographic)

Monday (1st February) saw the release of the critically acclaimed action thriller Sicario (on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital platforms courtesy of Lionsgate Home Entertainment).Today we have infographic that looks at the film’s core source, the drug cartels of Mexico.

Sicario is a visceral, unflinching portrayal of the war against drugs. Critically lauded and impossible to tear your eyes away from, the film goes deep into the politics and the tensions that define a global problem but it’s also by no means the first film to examine the cause and effect of getting high.

The Infographic shows off some truly terrifying sometimes gory facts on why the Drug cartels have so much power, what is scary is the people we rely onto protect us are just as gullible.
