Mel Gibson Has a New Shrink, meet THE BEAVER, new trailer & poster

Well he may not be favourite person in the eyes of the world (in and outside of film) due to his recent antics but THE BEAVER  could be the first step on a road of possible comeback and forgiveness in the eyes of the worldfor Mel Gibson. Summit Entertainment have released the first trailer & new poster for the movie via Apple and you can check them out below.

THE BEAVER stars Mel Gibson as Walter Black a toy executive and family man plagued by his own demons but now suffering from depression. Whatever he tries or does it just doesnt seem to work until he found a hand puppet of a beaver .

It’s just ironic some of the issues his onscreen character Walter (the demons in his life) relate to his real life antics could help him sort himself out, so maybe a beaver puppet could help him?When I first read about this movie I just believed Gibson had just went another step towards cuckoo land to a mental breakdown but now a trailer for the movie has appeared the story doesnt look as ridiculous as first believed and he actually really looks good in this emotionally along with performance wise. But as they on the road to recovery lets take one step at a time and if what we see from the The Beaver you’ll do okay.

The Beaver co-stars Jodie Foster (who also directs),  Anton Yelchin, Jennifer Lawrence, Cherry Jones and the movie will be released in UK &Ireland on February 11, 2011.
