Maleficent the Magnificence! Watch New Maleficent Featurettes

Recently it’s seemed that Disney have become obsessed with origin stories, from Monsters University to Oz, The Great and Powerful and not forgetting Saving Mr Banks.

Maleficent is the latest movie delving into the past of the Disney back catalogue and is set to be one of the summers blockbusters. Starring Angelina Jolie as Maleficent the movie explores “the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the classic Sleeping Beauty and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone”, chilling stuff. Directed by Robert Stromburg, the cast also includes Juno Temple, Elle Fanning, Imelda Staunton and Sam Riley.

They have just released the Official Final Trailer for the movie, which doesn’t give too much of the plot away, we do know that there will be dragons, monsters, curses and action and we will discover what could make a good fairy turn bad!

Disney also released 2 short Featurettes earlier this week which includes previously unseen footage and takes a more in-depth look at the character of Maleficent, complete with interviews with Jolie.
