If you wondered “what could have been” with Mahershala Ali as Blade, the trailer for Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother may give you that taster, he’s ‘badass’!
The Oscar winning actor has moved on and Bassam Tariq‘s action drama thriller he will show Marvel what they are missing. Ironically he was meant to be Blade reboot director and we can see this could be the ‘alternative’ to that’.
Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother sees our leading man as Latif a devoutly religious man who also happens to be an hitman.ย He’s struggling balance his life between his fatherhood, faith and job and his life is turned upside down when his wife dies, things threaten to unravel his life.
I’ll be honest I knew nothing about this film and I’m impressed. Ali showing off some slick sword and knife skills, he would give John Wick a run for his money.
The film also stars John Cho, Abubakr Ali, Laith Nakli, Tramell Tillman, Tiffany Boone, and Giancarlo Esposito along with Adia, Jahleel Kamara.

Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother is set to make it’s world premiere at next month’s Toronto Film Festival exact date still to be confirmed. No UK or Irish distributor or release date, Amazon MGM will release the film in the U.S in October (limited release 25th September).
