Lyle, Lyle Crocodile Second Trailer Lyle Knows Every Scale

Sony Pictures Releasing have released a second UK Trailer for Lyle, Lyle Crocodile. One crocodile that knows every scale and will ‘snap’ at a chance to be your friend!

The new promo highlights the bond of friendship Josh (Winslow Fegley) and our titular Lyle (voiced by Shawn Mendes) have created. Of course not every day you find a crocodile (be it a CGI version) that can sing!

The Primm family moves to New York, there son Josh  struggles with the new place and adapting to new life,  making friends. This all changes when a bath loving, caviar eating crocodile called Lyle is found living in his attic. Both become friends quickly, however he must convince his family he’s a worthy addition to the family!

Based on the best-selling book series by Bernard Waber, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile is a live-action/CGI musical comedy that brings this beloved character to a new, global audience.

When the Primm family (Constance Wu, Scoot McNairy, Winslow Fegley) moves to New York City, their young son Josh struggles to adapt to his new school and new friends. All of that changes when he discovers Lyle – a singing crocodile (Shawn Mendes) who loves baths, caviar and great music – living in the attic of his new home. The two become fast friends, but when Lyle’s existence is threatened by evil neighbour Mr. Grumps (Brett Gelman), the Primm’s must band together with Lyle’s charismatic owner, Hector P. Valenti (Javier Bardem), to show the world that family can come from the most unexpected places and there’s nothing wrong with a big singing crocodile with an even bigger personality.

The film’s cast also includes Constance Wu, Scoot McNairy, Javier Bardem, Brett Gelman and Rudie BoltonLyle, Lyle Crocodile will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 14th October.
