LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS Animated Netflix Anthology Reveals Insane Trailer

Ready to converge in one crazy crazy animated anthology? Presented by Tim Miller (Deadpool) &  David Fincher (Se7en, Gone Girl) Love Death + Robots is for the mature amongst us  who are ‘messed up’.  Today Netflix reveal the series first Trailer,

Netflix don’t provide much info into the series apart from  it  will have Sentient dairy products, werewolf soldiers, robots gone wild, garbage monsters, cyborg bounty hunters, alien spiders and blood-thirsty demons from hell. Those animation shorts will vary in  visual styles lasting anything between 5 to 15 minutes from animators from France, Hungary, Korea, Canada and the USA. Roughly 185 minutes long, 18 short films , strictly NSFW.

It seems Miller and Fincher were inspired from 1970’s comic books, you can see Heavy Metal has an big inspiration on this project. Fincher has been for a long attempting to remake the cult animation this may be the closest he’ll get to achieving that wish. This is also not the first he has attempted to work on an animation  with Miller before, both  worked on a failed Goon animated feature about 10 years ago.

The Trailer below is just an myriad of images that clearly show you a taster of those visual styles on offer. Some heavy themes going on here too, like racism, war, government and this is one film you don’t want any young ones watching it!
