Logan Knows The Drill In New Clip And Superbowl TV Spot

He maybe older, gruffer and tired but he knows the drill and in a new clip for Logan, our adamantium hero mutant has one last battle to confront before we say goodbye. In less than 3 weeks time Wolverine may finally get the gritty violent ending hardcore he deserves and the previous trailers suggest he will. Today we have a first clip as which Logan stands up for a colleague who is threatened, reminding them of ‘the drill’…

With last night Stateside been Superbowl was ruling the TV coverage and Paramount U.S.A released an emotionally driven TV Spot. The new promo makes great use of a song that unnerves our emotions with great use of Amazing Grace delivering a haunting tone….

Adding a dark, dystopian future into the affray does look like it help the premise of this movie. What should be his ‘retirement’ he finds himself becoming a mentor, protector of a young girl who is Project X-23, a younger female version of Logan himself. Even from these promos this is no ordinary Comic book movie, the whole feel and approach to the marketing is different. Comic books are no longer associated with the younger generation, something for all. Is it 21st Century version of Lone Wolf & The Cub.

In the near future, a weary Logan (Hugh Jackman) cares for an ailing Professor X (Patrick Stewart)in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan‘s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant (Dafne Keen) arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Logan arrives in UK &Irish cinemas on 1st March (the USA 3rd March),co-starring Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Richard E.Grant, and Doris Morgado.
