War is cruel but if you die then relive the horror over and over again what would you each time?Learn and adapt! Behold the first trailer for Doug Liman‘s  Sci-fi actioner Edge Of Tomorrow.

Adapted from Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s novel All You Need Is Kill, Edge Of Tomorrow stars Tom Cruise as Bill Cage a army pr man in the future where the human race pitted against a invading militarized  alien race. Thanks to several mistake Cage finds himself suited and thrown into action been killed within minutes but only reawaken caught in a time loop. Each time he comes back Cage attempts to learn more and more on how to defeat the enemy he finds help from Rita (Emily Blunt) a special force soldier who suffered the same problem but can the pair figure out each time how to defeat the enemy and save mankind?

Warner Bros this week have been pulling out all the stops to make sure we get an early Christmas present with the release of The Jupiter Ascending, Godzilla trailers and now Edge Of  Tomorrow. If you missed Tom Cruise delivering his M.I style action from his previous films this one looks like it’ll deliver you fix and if you thought Emily Blunt was hard as nails in Looper she’s even harder here plus has a big sword too! We even get a glimpse of allied planes flying over white cliffs of Dover homage to World War 2 allied soldiers?
