Let’s Play Ball In New Trailer & TV Spots For Trouble With The Curve

When Moneyball came out earlier this year in UK starring Brad Pitt I was actually quite surprised how well UK film fans reacted with Baseball been a minor sport here in UK compared to the USA.This could be testament of having a strong popular lead (Brad Pitt) or simply there wasn’t much great to see at the time, Clint Eastwood will be hoping the same with Trouble With The Curve and tonight we have a new trailer, 4 TV Spots.

Trouble With The Curve sees Eastwood play an ageing Baseball scout whose daughter (Amy Adams) reluctantly agrees to join her father in one last scouting trip bringing out a few home truths as they travel around the country. This film may also have an baseball theme like Moneyball however this one should be a little more friendlier to non sports fans as the sport isn’t the main theme but the relationship between father and daughter. Despite the complaints that the story for this film might be a little on the jaded side the film still looks entertaining enough plus it could be a rare treat to see an icon like Clint Eastwood act again  as we don’t what’s next for him at least on a acting level.

After the films first trailer 2 weeks ago, it could be a bit of a surprise to see another trailer so fast hover the film is out in less than 4 weeks in USA (September 21st) with us here in UK having to wait a little longer November 30th. The film also stars Justin Timberlake, Matthew Lillard , John Goodman,Robert Patrick and  Robert Lorenz directing.
