‘Legends’ Cause Havoc In Pig Hill Trailer

New film from Willy’s Wonderland director set for FrightFest world Premiere

Every town, area, even country have their urban legends. In the official Trailer for horror Pig Hill those legends are causing havoc!

Next month the dark heart of cinema FrightFest will take place in London which this film will have it’s world premiere. Tonight Concourse Media share their gory horror’s trailer ahead it’s premiere.

The film is directed by Willy’s Wonderland director Kevin Lewis. This one stars stars Rainey Qualley (Shut In), Shane West (Salem) and Shiloh Fernandez (Evil Dead).

Pig Hill is based on the 2019 novel by Nancy Williams called Pig. We follow Carrie has been fascinated by the local legend of the pig people of Pig Hill. They are revolting creatures who breed and cause havoc in the area. When another person goes missing Carrie wonders if the urban legend might be true.

Kevin Lewis commented on his film:โ€œ I am so excited to premiere my film โ€œPig Hillโ€ at FrighFest in August. The festival is of the best genre film festivals in the world and it is such an honor to have this punk-rock fever mind trip of a movie being shown to the most dedicated horror audiences that a filmmaker could possibly have. . It is adapted from Nancy Williams novel and is a poignant story of obsession, love, and the terrible consequences of what happens when reality and fantasy blur. It is a tale of the remarkable power of the mind and how it will do anything to protect itself.โ€

Shot on location in Meadville, Pennsylvania โ€” the origin of the real urban legend โ€” Pig Hill follows Carrie (Qualley), a woman haunted by a series of unexplained disappearances. As she investigates, she becomes entangled in the local lore of the โ€œpig people,โ€ uncovering a terrifying truth hidden in generations of myth. Alongside her new friend Andy (West) and her brother Chris (Fernandez), Carrieโ€™s search for answers becomes a desperate fight for survival.

Pig Hill will make it’s world premiere at next month’s FrightFest on 23rd August. There is still tickets available which you can purchase here. There is no word on who and when the film will be released in the UK and Ireland.
