We’re always learning in life no matter how young or old we are. In the second UK Trailer for Pedro Almodóvar‘s The Room Next Door, Julianne Moore ‘is learning’.
Last month as mentioned, Almodóvar‘s English language feature debut made it’s world premiere at Venice Film Festival. It’s no surprise the film critically did well, so well it won the Golden Lion at the festival. Next month the film will be released in UK cinemas from Warner Bros. Pictures.
In The Room Next Door (which is based on What Are Going Through written by Sigrid Nunez), friends Martha (Tilda Swinton) and Ingrid (Moore). Both friends since their teens, both working for same employer only to go their own way. They do re-connect older and wiser thanks to an situation that challenges their friendship.
Those reviews describe the film as emotional and tender which will please fans of the Spanish filmmaker.

Ingrid (Julianne Moore) and Martha (Tilda Swinton) were close friends in their youth, when they worked together at the same magazine. Ingrid went on to become an autofiction novelist while Martha became a war reporter, and they were separated by the circumstances of life. After years of being out of touch, they meet again in an extreme but strangely sweet situation.
The Room Next Door will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 25th October. The film also stars John Turturro, Alessandro Nivola, Esther McGregor, Alessandro Nivola, Alex Høgh Andersen, Melina Matthews and Juan Diego Botto.
