Al Capone was America’s most notorious gangster who ruled with an iron fist. Josh Trank‘s long awaited forgotten about film ‘Fonzo‘ is finally getting released. The film has a new name Capone, and now it has it’s official Trailer…Looks totally bonkers!
The project has been on the go for four years, production ending in 2018. Like many films it’s fell off the radar and now it’s back with the film now heading to Digital. This doesn’t surprise us with the current Covid-19 pandemic disrupting our lives.
Tom Hardy plays the titular character and it’s not the standard biopic. It seems the film will focus on the infamous gangster’s latter years suffering with dementia. But is he faking the illness to get released? The FBI and enemies wait for the mob boss to let slip.
This sounds the perfect fit for the British actor, the trailer suggest he loved every minute. It’s dark, gritty, potentially violent, just refreshing see a dangerous figure in a downward spiral.
