Who is the joker?In the first Teaser Trailer for Alice In Borderland Season 3, the joker card is about to be played, but who is behind it?

3 years after Season 2 debuted on Netflix, we’ve been hinted a third season was on the cards. As for the story, the last season completed the story based around Haro Aso‘s manga of the same name. The ending was strong, leaving some fans what a little wary if the quality of the upcoming  season will falter.

Alice In Borderland Season 3 will see the return of  Kento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya as Arisu and Ugi.  Since returning to the real world the pair have gotten married and life looks great for them. However things take a drastic turn when Ugi suddenly disappears, and Arisu is hand the final card, The Joker.

In the last few years I was privileged to go on holiday to Tokyo twice, that date was delayed. Finding this series made my eventual journey even more exciting, it was exciting and tonally dark. If you are a fan of Squid Game you might want to check this series out…

It’s time to return to the Borderland… In the previous season, Arisu and Usagi cleared every card’s game and returned to the real world. Now married, they lead a happy life, though their memories of the Borderland surface only in dreams and hallucinations. One day, Usagi suddenly vanishes. Guided by Ryuji, a man who studies the afterlife, she sets out for the Borderland. A devastated Arisu is visited by Banda, now a Borderland resident, who informs him of Usagi’s whereabouts. Arisu must now follow her back into inevitable danger to find her.

Upon his return, Arisu faces a barrage of fire arrows and electric currents powerful enough to fry victims alive. Will he find Usagi and return to their world? What awaits them and the other players — hope or despair? With only the Joker card remaining, the game it holds for Arisu and the others remains a mystery. The Borderland returns on an even grander scale, with stunning visuals that will captivate viewers.
