Capote Set For A 2 Disc Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray Release
Altitude Films have announced they are re-releasing Bennett Miller‘s Capote later this month. Re-released in the UK on a special 2-Disc Limited Collector’s Edition Blu-ray and DVD.
20 years after the film’s initial release, another chance to see why Miller’s gained such critical acclaim. Phillip Seymour Hoffman stars as Truman Capote, along with Clifton Collins Jr., Catherine Keener, Chris Cooper. Capote would win Hoffman Best Actor Oscar with Miller Best Director, film also won Best Picture, Supporting Actress and Adapted Screenplay.

In 1959, Truman Capote learns of the murder of a Kansas family and decides to write a book about the case. While researching for his novel In Cold Blood, Capote forms a relationship with one of the killers, Perry Smith, who is on death row.
