Here at The Peoples Movies we’re getting ready for 2023 and recruiting new writers, Join Us!?
We are looking for various positions to make sure the site is up and running and a place for cinephiles to head to for reviews, trailers and news.
We can give you a platform to share your passion, enthusiasm for all things film, streaming and the pop culture that comes with our favourite pass time.
As one of our writers you will be creative, bursting with ideas, reliable, able to stick to deadlines and delivering what you promise. Basic WordPress knowledge would be great but not essential (editorial positions WordPress experience is essential). We ask you will be flexible too.
The Peoples Movies is a small independent film site that has been running for 14 years. We don’t have any funding or sponsors, what we can offer is opportunity. A chance to improve your CV and step up the ladder or simply stay with us.
We are looking for the following positions to be filled.
London based writers – To help cover London based previews and any other review opportunities. If you have contacts that get you those previews, even better.
General writer – Regardless what part of UK/Ireland you are from you will review everything. From Cinema to home releases to streaming, all genres.
Streaming writers – Covering all things from the Streaming Channels (please mention the channels you can cover)
Classic/Cult writers – Covering the latest re-releases, retrospectives
Anime writers + Editor – covering the reviews from cinema, home releases to streaming channels. You will cover news stories, create articles and even those pop cultures in and around Anime. You could expand and cover Animation in general.
News Writers + Editor – All things news including the latest trailers, clips, even articles and features
