What I really love about Collider is the wide scope of interview they post on their website and here is 2 interviews from the years Toronoto Film Festival with THE ROAD’S director John Hillcoat and the star of the movie Viggo Mortensen.

The Road has just been plagued with delays and problems and originally the movie was due to be released late 2008 but November it will get its American release but here in UK and Ireland we must wait until January 2010. The movie has done the rounds at a few of the film festivals with a few of the big movie press dogs have been so eager to destroy the movie  but I think it will be a good movie.

The movie is very dark movie set in a post-apoclpytic future  and a father trying to protect his son in a barren wasteland called USA. The movie is based on a award winning novel by Cormac Mcarthy and Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Robert Duvall and Kodi smit-macphee  also star.

UK/Irish release date: January 8th 2010.
