Jason Momoa Discusses His Role As Lobo In Upcoming Supergirl Film

Jason Momoa plays Lobo in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow

Jason Momoa has been giving fans a little taster of his role as Lobo in the upcoming Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow film, talking about his love to the character and that, originally, he thought he was going to play him back in 2016.

“I have every Lobo comic,” he said to Jimmy Kimmel Live. “He was my favorite. I thought I was going to be playing Lobo when Zack Snyder called me. Because it was Batman vs. Superman, and they needed to have a villain in there.”

Momoa said that he was “surprised” that he was asked by Zack Snyder to play Aquaman in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and the subsequent Justice League and Aquaman films. Host Kimmel pointed out how similar he looks to Lobo, which Momoa wasn’t shocked by, saying, “Rides a motorcycle, smokes cigars, loves Guinness. I mean, c’mon. Dreadlocks.”
