Jack Reacher: Never Go Back follows the title character as he returns to Virginia to meet the head of his former unit(Cobbie Smulders). But she’s missing, he’s being charged with a crime committed nearly 20 years ago, and he may even have a daughter. Making things right will lead him on a cross-country chase to uncover the truth – and maybe even a family.
Jack Reacher we loved , it caught us by surprise and some may not like his throwback to the 1980’s even 1990’s action movies. Some may say he’s stuck in his ways using methods of persuasion and investigation that many regarded as old fashioned but he delivered the results.
This trailer looks the exact same IMAX trailer that’s been promoted in USA, so there’s plenty of action on show and to many the body count is one of the highlights of the franchise. But can the sequel match the original film and deliver that entertaining popcorn flick again especially when the legendary Werner Herzog is not the baddie? Cruise looks bad ass as ever “Is that fear I hear in your voice?” NO! “What you hear is excitement!”
