It’s Official Ghostbusters 3 Filming 2013 and Bill Murray Won’t Be Involved
If you weren’t old enough to be born or live during the 1980’s you may wonder those film fans old enough rave about Ghostbusters do, all I’ll say is go buy them or rent them off your favourite online film rental. We’ve been waiting 23 years for the third film and the past few years has been a emotional rollercoaster from hell with the fiasco will Bill Murray be involved, yes he will then its no he won’t unless there’s re-write, then he’s out thanks Dan Ayrkoyd one of the main people behind the potential third film. We mustn’t forget the comedy of errors with the so called apparent slip of tongue on script, whose in whose not and the plot line but today Digital Spy reported a new writer is onboard Etan Cohen (Men Of Black 3) it seems the third film may actually happen.
A script has been written which is worth shooting and surprise surprise it doesn’t include Peter Venkman aka Billy Murray!
“We’ve got a brilliant new writer [Etan Cohen] on it and we’ll be passing the torch onto a [new] generation,” Aykroyd said.
“We’re working on it to make it just right to satisfy our fans. I’m confident we’ll be in production in the next year.”
“We’ve got the studio on side. We’ve tried a few concepts which weren’t right but now we’ve got a good structure and will make it happen,” he continued.
Asked if Bill Murray was on board, Aykroyd replied: “No, I can tell you he won’t be involved.”
“It’s sad but we’re passing it on to a new generation. Ghostbusters 3 can be a successful movie without Bill.”
“My preference would be to have him involved but at this point he doesn’t seem to be coming and we have to move on. It’s time to make the third one.”
It sad a generation never got a chance of their own Ghostbusters, however I am getting that obligational thing like we got with Men In Black 3 which lacked enthusiasm just turning up to make it as it’s in the contract. Many people have made out Bill Murray to be the bad guy here, Ill I was one of them but with so many problems plaguing this film , it seems the project is stuck in production hell and I wont be surprised if all the problems we’ve read about before start again.
