‘It’s A Wrap’ As IT: Chapter Two Wraps Filming

There was no argument that Andy Muschietti‘s IT was going to do well at the box office, the critical response surprised some. We loved his terrifying vision of one of Stephen King’s much loved books, so the pressure will be on IT: Chapter Two to follow suit.
Hopefully, we will be all floating at our local cinemas next Autumn when the Losers Club return but now IT: Chapter Two has officially wrapped up filming. Several cast members including director Muschietti announced the news via Social Media.
The second chapter will be set 27 years later (present time) which will see The Losers Club forced to return to Derry Maine. Reunited under the circumstances they didn’t want to meet under, together to defeat Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) once and for all. During San Deigo Comic-Con, Muschietti did announce the reunited scene will be straight out of the novel.
We don’t actually know the official synopsis for the new film. Will it follow suit to the TV Film? be truer to the book? Or simply twisting elements of the books in a new direction? Bill Hader (Richie Tozier), did state IT: Chapter Two does have a lot of emotion as well as being a lot weirder. The kids were traumatised and as adults many still are.
The Adult Loser’s Club will be played by Jessica Chastain (Beverly), Bill Hader(Richie Tozier), James McAvoy (Bill Denbrough), Jay Ryan (Ben Hanscom), James Ransone (Eddie Kaspbrak), Isaiah Mustafa (Mike Hanlon) and Andy Bean (Stanley Uris). The kids from the first film will play a big part in the second film via flashbacks.
IT: Chapter 2 is set for a September 2019 release date.
