Interview: Xochitl Gomez and Aaron Dominguez Talk Hive
To celebrate the release of HIVE, we spoke with stars of the new creepy horror film that isn’t quite what you might be expecting. Check out our exclusive interview below!
Xochitl Gomez (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) and Aaron Dominguez (Only Murders in the Building) lead the film as siblings Sasha and Marco at the centre of its unsettling, eerie world. A tense teen babysitter loses her charge and faces a dark presence lurking among playground children. As reality blurs, she must navigate a deceptive world to survive.
Discussing all things HIVE, Gomez and Dominguez spoke about building that sibling dynamic within such an intense setting, working within the film’s eerie playground atmosphere, and the evolution of Sasha’s character. Synopsis:
HIVE is a horror-thriller about a strict, anxious teenager (Gomez) who loses the child she’s babysitting and must brave a sinister force hiding in plain sight among the children in the playground. As her world unravels and her grip on reality starts to slip, she must outwit a world where nothing is as it seems to make it out alive.
