International Trailer For GULILIVER'S TRAVELS
I’m one of those suckers who love the previews, a chance to see what trailers they’ll be showing and also what Orange Mobile advert will be playing and the past 4 weeks its been one and its Jack Black with his upcoming movie GULLIVER’S TRAVELS. 20TH Century Fox have released a new international trailer for Gulliver’s Travels via Orange but thanks to Moviefone you can watch the trailer below.
The movie also stars Jack Black, Amanda Peet, Catherine Tate, Emily Blunt, Billy Connolly, Jason Segel, Chris O’Dowd, T.J. Miller and is set for a UK & Irish release of December 26th (USA 22ND).
Gulliver’s Travels is an classic story but its one thats been adapted so many times for Cinema and TV you wonder what different casn they do to it apart from who stars in it.On a personal note Im not a Jack Black fan and dont find him funny so its on a downer with me but as I say there space for everyone and so he does have a loyal fanbase who’ll watch whatever he’s in. As for a positive note the effects look not too bad and as its going to be a 3d movie I wonder when the actual movie was created for 3d , after production or during? sadly it could be post but as its out during the Christmas period it will do well.
Synopsis: Lemuel Gulliver is a mailroom clerk at a New York newspaper. After Gulliver bluffs his way into an assignment writing about the secrets of the Bermuda Triangle, he is hurtled to an undiscovered land, Lilliput. In this fantastical new world, Gulliver is a bigger-than-life figure — in size and ego — especially after he starts telling tall tales, taking credit for his world’s greatest inventions, and placing himself at the center of its most historic events. Gulliver’s position is enhanced even further when he leads his new friends in a daring battle against their longtime enemies. But when Gulliver loses it all and puts the Lilliputians in peril, he must find a way to undo the damage. Gulliver only becomes a true giant among men when he learns that it¿s how big you are on the inside that counts.
