She has nothing to prove, but what is real to Amy Adams? Ahead of it’s release next month Netflix has released the official Trailer for Joe Wright‘s psychological Thriller The Woman In The Window. But what the heck is going on in her neighbourhood, what secrets are about to unravel?

Like many films in this never ending lockdown delayed this one, along with poor test screenings. There was also a small matter of Fox bought by Disney, now sold to the streaming giants.

In this one, Anna Fox (Amy Adams) feels safest when sheโ€™s watching the world from behind her window. Until the Russell family moves in across the street, and she witnesses something unimaginable. The question is…what really happened?

This looks very inspired by Hitchcock’s masterpiece Rear Window, then again many other films are inspired by greats. Hopefully the reshoots have helped this one after the bumpy road and maybe Netflix will end up being the perfect home for this film.
