Signature Entertainment have released the UK Trailer for indie horror The Owners. Julius Berg’s home invasion thriller  gone wrong stars Game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams. As the old chestnut states Respect your elders  or else and in this one ,you may never get out after you break in!

The film played part of Arrow Video Frightfest earlier this year now it’s getting ready to ‘invade’ a DVD player near you. French filmmaker Berg who has made an name for himself directing shorts and Television (including The Forest on Netflix), now making his feature film debut.

The film centres around a group of wannabe thieving friends are about to get the tables turned on them. They decide to break into an big house they think is empty. Only to realise the elderly couple (none other than Doctor Who alum  Sylvester McCoy and Doctor Zhivago star Rita Tushingham)  who do live there return home early. Soon to find themselves fighting for their lives when the prey become the predators!

This looks You’re Next crossed with Don’t Breathe, genuinely creepy that reminds us never judge anyone. It could cost you your life!

Prepare for home invasion thrills and twists galore in THE OWNERS, starring Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams and Doctor Who legend Sylvester McCoy.

One night in 1990s rural England, a retired couple finds their isolated house besieged by a gang of young criminals. The thieves think it will be easy to make them give up the secret of their safe.

But they have no idea what nightmare they’ve gotten themselves into as they fight to escape the house alive.

The film also stars Ian Kenny, Jake Curran, Andrew Ellis, and Stacha Hicks.

The Owners will be released in the UK & Ireland from 22nd February 2021 on Digital HD then 1st March on DVD.
