In Nightmare Ally Final Trailer Bradley Cooper Answers The Questions

If your looking one of those wonderful pulpy film noir novels of days gone by come live on the screen, gaze your eyes on Nightmare Alley. Give it a psychological twist from Guillermo Del Toro you have one exciting film on the cards visually and narratively. Today we get a look a the film’s final Trailer which sees Bradley Cooper answer the questions, but can he manipulate those asking to answers they want to hear?

Stanton Carlisle (Cooper) is a carny who has an knack of manipulating people, under the guise of a psychic. He heads to the big city, and gets involved with psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett) who is determined to expose him as a charlatan, only to find herself involved in his games.

The film is based on the book of the same name which was released in 1946, only to inspire a 1947 film. Del Toro promises a different spin on the film potentially as far as going supernatural? Plenty of those tropes we expect from Noir making this an intriguing, we’re sold on this!

When charismatic but down-on-his-luck Stanton Carlisle (Bradley Cooper) endears himself to clairvoyant Zeena (Toni Collette) and her has-been mentalist husband Pete (David Strathairn) at a traveling carnival, he crafts a golden ticket to success, using this newly acquired knowledge to grift the wealthy elite of 1940s New York society. With the virtuous Molly (Rooney Mara) loyally by his side, Stanton plots to con a dangerous tycoon (Richard Jenkins) with the aid of a mysterious psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett) who might be his most formidable opponent yet.

The film also stars Toni Collette, Willem Dafoe, Richard Jenkins, Rooney Mara, Ron Perlman, David Strathairn. Along with Holt McCallany, Clifton Collins Jr., Tim Blake Nelson, and Jim Beaver.

Nightmare Alley now has a UK and Irish release date and that day will be 21st January 2022. If you live in the U.S or Canada it will be a little sooner, 17th December.
