Archive_(2020)

When you lose a loved one, how far would you go? It’s the moral ethical question that faces Theo James in the Official (U.S) Trailer. Vertical Entertainment release the latest promo as a man deals with the loss of his partner, will he should he scenario?

The film is set in 2038, George (James)is working on a true human-equivalent AI. Thanks to the recent death of his wife, he introduces her to this environment and greeted with unexpected repercussions.

We all know how empty we can be when we lose someone, we would do anything to bring them back. Even if it’s for a few moments even to say goodbye, would you put them in a AI device? This film is the directorial feature debut for VFX artist Gavin Rothery, a heavy topic to have for your debut. It’s one that asks for a lot of sensitivity and the film does remind us a little of Netflix’s I Am Mother

2038: George Almore is working on a true human-equivalent AI. His latest prototype is almost ready. This sensitive phase is also the riskiest. Especially as he has a goal that must be hidden at all costs: being reunited with his dead wife.

The film also co-stars Stacey Martin,Rhona Mitra, Toby Jones, and Peter Ferdinando.

We don’t have any details who will release Archive in the UK and when. In the U.S.A expect this one via usual VOD outlets from 10th July 2020.
