The impossibilities Are Endless next month when movie 14 of Marvel Cinematic Universe Doctor Strange will arrive in UK&Irish cinemas. Today we get a look at a new ‘pay-off’ poster thanks to the nice folks at Marvel, a poster that goes all out inception style matching up well with the movies slogan…
Yesterday we learned the movie will be released 3 days earlier on 25th October (USA release still the same on 4th November) and today we may have learned the film’s running time. Australian cinema chain, Event Cinemas is advertising Doctor Strange will have a running time of 130 minutes. A Running that’s the same to the majority of the MCU movies with the exception of with Captain America: Civil War the longest (146 minutes). The question will the pillow be to help you with the longtime sitting down or to comfort the snore bore? Only time will tell.
Marvel has our thumbs up from moving away from the spandex clad superhuman egos for something a little more grounded, a master of the mystical arts. MCU is much loved by not just the comic fanboys and girls, cinephiles but things are getting a little too comfortably close to becoming a little stagnant. Now inserting for ‘Strange Magic’, weirdness it’s hope to refresh and keep MCU running a little bit longer.
Doctor Strange follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange(Benedict Cumberbatch) who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions. Hoping to regain his skills once again Strange looks to the unique mystic Healer known as the Ancient One to help him finding himself a master of the mystic arts. Thus bringing great responsibilities thanks to those great powers.
Doctor Strange also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor , Michael Stuhlbarg, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Scott Adkins, Amy Landecker, and Mads Mikkelsen.
