Hulk Star clarifies Avengers: Doomsday Appearance
It’s hard to tell at this point what Marvel rumours are going to be true or false, but the latest comes from Mark Ruffalo himself, who claims that he will not be appearing in Avengers: Doomsday as the Hulk.
With everyone under the sun returning for the film, including Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth, there has been plenty of debate on the internet on who else would appear. It seemed likely that the Hulk would return, too, with Ruffalo confirmed as appearing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but that has now been put to bed.
The reveal came as part of an interview with EMPIRE for Crime 101,ย where he revealed he won’t be part of Avengers: Doomsday, before adding that, “[I would return] as long as they keep finding cool things to do with Hulk“. This adds a lot of intrigue for the character, with the Hulk not appearing for a few projects. When we last saw the hero, he was helping to train his cousin, Jennifer Walters, as She-Hulk, before meeting his son, Skaar. However, that character’s introduction in the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law finale didn’t receive the most positive response from fans.ย
Crime 101 follows a Los Angeles detective pursuing an elusive thief who teams up with an insurance broker for one last heist. It’s due to release on the 13th February. Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to be released in cinemas on 18th December.ย
