“Hi, You Know Me?” Watch UK Trailer For A Love Song

Dale Hickey in A Love Song in UK cinemas 9th December

Hi, You Know Me?“, you might do after you watch the UK Trailer for A Love Song. Sony Pictures have released Melancholic promo from the film that was premiered at Sundance earlier this year.

You will know Dale Dickey for her many roles: Hell or High Water, Winterโ€™s Bone, Palm Springs, Super 8, and Iron Man 3. Those maybe small ones, they are roles many times memorable ones. In Max Walker-Silverman‘s feature directorial debut she takes the lead.

Hickey plays Faye who is a lonely single traveller waiting for the arrival of Lito (Wes Studi). A childhood sweetheart of Faye who hasn’t seen him since those days. Will she recognise him?

The film only has a short running time of 81 minutes, which is perfect. No hiding A Love Song is a slow burning film plays like a study of loneliness. Living your life in a caravan, in rural lands (filmed in Colorado, USA) and most of all trying to survive. Both characters have personal tragedies, as well as people looking for companionship in later life.

Faye (Dale Dickey) is a lone traveller biding her time fishing, birding and stargazing at a rural Colorado campground as she awaits the arrival of Lito (Wes Studi), a figure from her past who is navigating his own tentative and nomadic journey across the rugged West. Like the country music that has traditionally channelled the heartbreak and resilience of Americans in search of themselves and others โ€” on the road, in the margins, and off the beaten pathโ€” writer-director Max Walker-Silverman weaves a spare, lyrical and ultimately joyful refrain out of the wondrous and transformative act of being alone.

The film also stars Michelle Wilson, Benja K. Thomas, John Way, and Marty Grace Dennis. A Love Song will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 9th December.
