Hooded stalker looks over forest hills In A Violent Nature,

Horror genre will be turned on it’s head this summer with the release of In A Violent Nature. Altitude Films have today have released the official UK Trailer and ‘here’s Johnny!’

Ever since it’s world premiere at Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, Chris Nash debut feature has been getting horror fans buzzing. The film twists those slashers with the film seen through the eyes of the ‘killer’, this time the masked and murderous Johnny. That doesn’t mean to say those victims won’t escape, far from it!

In A Violent Nature, revenge is on the cards when a locket is removed from a collapsed tower. Bringing Johnny seeking that locket and unleashing hell on anyone gets in his way…especially those pesky teens!

The kills are described as ‘epic’, gory and shocking. You can see influences from the likes of Friday the 13th, even the Evil Dead. It does look a lot slower than similar films, it looks devilishly entertaining, and excruciatingly tense.

When a locket is removed from a collapsed fire tower in the woods that entombs the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred on by a horrific 60-year old crime, his body is resurrected and becomes hellbent on retrieving it. The undead golem hones in on the group of vacationing teens responsible for the theft and proceeds to methodically slaughter them one by one in his mission to get it back – along with anyone in his way.

The cast for this one includes Ry Barrett, Andrea Pavlovic, Reece Presley, Cameron Love, Liam Leone, Charlotte Creaghan, Lea Rose Sebastianis, and Sam Roulston.

In A Violent Nature will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 12th July.
