Sometime to end things you go back to the source and Patrick Wilson might be once again Josh Lambert, the film also marks his directorial feature debut. Rose Byrne is back as Renai and Ty Simpkins as a university aged Dalton.
If you go by Insidious part 3 and 4 fans of the franchise will watch this will smile that this film might just be the third part they craved. Part 3 and 4 are prequels with part 2 dealing with the aftermath of the original film and now it all ends.
New evil will be unleashed, 10 years after the Dalton first terrifying experience. Now ready to head to college he is once again the target of those demonic spirits. Pushing the lamberts to once again face their dark past and what lurks behind the Red Door.
In Insidious: The Red Door, the horror franchise’s original cast returns for the final chapter of the Lambert family’s terrifying saga. To put their demons to rest once and for all, Josh (Patrick Wilson) and a college-aged Dalton (Ty Simpkins) must go deeper into The Further than ever before, facing their family’s dark past and a host of new and more horrifying terrors that lurk behind the red door.
The original cast from Insidious is back with Patrick Wilson (also making his directorial debut), Ty Simpkins, Rose Byrne and Andrew Astor. Also starring Sinclair Daniel and Hiam Abbass. Produced by Jason Blum, Oren Peli, James Wan and Leigh Whannell. The screenplay is written by Scott Teems from a story by Leigh Whannell, based on characters created by Leigh Whannell.
Insidious: The Red Door also stars Lyne Shye, Andrew Astor, Sinclair Daniel and Hiam Abbass. The film will arrive in UK, Irish and U.S cinemas from 7th July.
