Gus Van Sant’s Dead Man’s Wire Gets Riveting UK Trailer
Vertigo Releasing have released the riveting UK Trailer for Gus Van Sant’s upcoming true life crime drama Dead Man’s Wire.
We’re less in a few weeks from the UK cinema release, we get a taster of what we can expect. Dead Man’s Wire which stars Bill Skarsgård and is set in 1977. Tony Kiritsis a down in his luck man who would become anti hero for many. Demanding he gets $5 million he’s and a public apology with a shotgun at the man he wants the apology from.
Joining Skarsgard in the cast are Dacre Montgomery, Colman Domingo, Cary Elwes, Myha’la, and Al Pacino.
Synopsis | On the morning of February 8, 1977, Anthony G. “Tony” Kiritsis, 44, entered the office of Richard O. Hall, president of the Meridian Mortgage Company, and took him hostage with a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun wired with a “dead man’s wire” from the trigger to Hall’s head.
DEAD MAN’S WIRE tells the unbelievable true story of the stand-off that took the world by storm as Tony demanded $5 million, no charges or prosecution, and a personal apology from the Halls for cheating him out of what he was “owed.”
Dead Man’s Wire will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on 20th March. Before then, the film will make it’s Scottish Premiere at Glasgow Film Festival on 3rd March.
